Welcome to the ‘About Me’ section of Steve Chaplin Driving School! I am Steve, a DVSA approved driving instructor with BTEC Level 3 and 4 qualifications in coaching for driver development. As a driving instructor, I understand the importance of continuing professional development. To provide my pupils with the best chance of becoming safe and responsible drivers, I continuously improve my skills and knowledge.

In addition to being a DVSA approved driving instructor, I have also obtained the BTEC Level 3 Advanced Award in Coaching for Driver Development and the Pearson-accredited BTEC Level 4 Professional Award in Coaching for Driver Development. These qualifications are industry-leading and enable me to adopt a client-centered approach with my customers.

At my driving school, I prioritise client-centered learning or coaching. This approach raises awareness and builds responsibility so that you can learn how your personality impacts your driving behaviour. Through coaching, you can develop skills to manage your behaviour safely and become a responsible driver. My goal is to empower you to develop self-evaluation skills and take ownership of your driving once you are qualified.
